PER S

I founded Marathon Sport in 1996, have run 18 marathons and still dream of one last one. The Big Sur Marathon was one of the greatest experiences because it is so beautiful. When I am not with my wife, three children, two cats, three dogs and a horse, I cycle gravel and run a couple of times a week, primarily in Dyrehaven.

CARL

I work full-time at Marathon Sport on Åboulevard. When I'm not guiding runners in our store on Åboulevard, I run about 100 km a week. I love gastronomy and have previously been a manager at a Copenhagen open-air sandwich chain.

CLARA

I work part-time at Marathon Sport. I am originally from Central Denmark and moved to Copenhagen in the summer of 2020 to study Pharmacy at the University of Copenhagen. I spend a large part of my time in my running shoes, and some of my favorite running locations include Dyrehaven, Utterslev Mose or Fælledparken.

EMILY

I study sports at the University of Copenhagen and work as a substitute at Marathon Sport. I love being able to help people find the right running shoes or clothes. Running is an important breather for me in everyday life. My favorite routes in Copenhagen are around the parks and on the slightly longer trips I like Dyrehaven and Utterslevmose. In May I will run my first marathon and I am really looking forward to experiencing it.

IVAN

With many years of experience in the service profession and a great passion for running, Marathon Sport allows me to live out my dream. I prefer to take training trips to Damhussøen, Dyrehaven or Vestvolden, preferably with others. I have run Tromsø Midnight Sun, Valencia Marathon and the Danish Championship 100 km in Viborg. I love sweets, especially cake!

JASON

I work full time at Marathon Sport.

JULIE

I work full time at Marathon Sport, primarily at Åboulevarden. I spend my free time running, hanging out with friends and family. I often run in Copenhagen or at my family's house on Funen.

CHARLES

I study Biology at the University of Copenhagen and work as a substitute at Marathon Sport at Åboulevard 1. In my free time I run and have my training organized by Claus Hechmann. My focus is road running and PR, but I also have experience with trail running. I primarily run at Damhussøen, Utterslev Mose and Fælledparken.

Jeg arbejder fuldtid i det digitale team i Marathon Sport med marketing: SoMe, nyhedsbreve, Paid ads osv. Når jeg ikke arbejder, er jeg sammen med min kæreste, familie og veninder. Jeg elsker at være aktiv, især løbeture i dyrehaven.

KENT

I have worked at Marathon Sport for 16 years and am the store manager at Østerbrogade 19. In my free time I run in Sparta, where I coach a sub-elite running team. I have run everything from 800m to ultras and train both on the track, in the forest and on the road. The New York City Marathon is one of my greatest running experiences.

LASSE

I study sports at the University of Copenhagen and work part-time at Marathon Sport on Åboulevard 1. As a shoe expert, I help customers find the right running gear so they can reach their goals and enjoy their run. My passion for running has been unfolding in Tisvilde Hegn for many years. Today I run in Søndermarken, Frederiksberg Have and Damhussøen.

LAURA

I work part-time at Marathon Sport.

LUKAS

I have a background in physiotherapy and am a permanent employee at the store on Åboulevard. When I'm not in the store, I'm probably either out for a run, preferably where I can see the water, like by the lakes, the harbor or up the coast.

MALENE

I have worked at Marathon Sport for many years and am a store manager at Åboulevard 1. In my free time I often run by myself, with friends or my dog. I get my running program from Team Hechmann and have run everything from one mile to 50 km and done Ironman. A great experience was the CPH Marathon 2015, where I came in 5th overall. I know many injuries, but always find a solution to continue.

MALTHE

At Marathon Sport I am a shoe expert and help you find the right running shoes and running clothes. I run a lot myself and participate in competitions from 1500m to half marathon. One of my favorite places is Dyrehaven, where there are wide gravel paths and peace. I also run a lot around Copenhagen's lakes.

METTE-MARIE

I work in Marathon Sport stores, primarily on Åboulevard. My interest in running started when I was 11 years old and I have loved it ever since. When I am not at work, I spend time running, swimming in the sea, knitting and seeing my loved ones. I often have many balls in the air and therefore I use running as my free time.

NICOLINE

I work part-time at Marathon Sport.

OLIVER

Halli halløj. I am a running expert at Marathon Sport and help customers with the right running gear. Twice a week I run in Sparta, and otherwise many of my trips take place at Damhussøen, Frederiksberg Have or as transportation to and from work. My biggest running experience is the Berlin Half Marathon 2023.

PER C

I am a full-time employee at Marathon Sport and work with the webshop, complaints, product creation and lead our Electronics Team. I use running as a means of transportation to work, which works well with family time and late working hours. In my free time I am in Sweden and enjoy running, fishing and taking nature photos.

Jeg arbejder med udviklingen af Marathon Sports webshop og den digitale kundeoplevelse. Som en del af det digitale team er jeg med til at forme og optimere den samlede online rejse. Uden for skærmen er jeg af mange kendt som Mr. Social Run Cph og Mr. Parkrun.

Jeg arbejder fuldtid som løbeekspert i Marathon Sport butikken på Østerbrogade.

SOUTH

I have been with Marathon Sport since 2012 and work in sales, Fusion, B2B and as a Garmin expert. I run ultras, with 100 miles as the longest, and do triathlons, swimming, cycling, kayaking, roller skiing and skydiving. I also enjoy a good glass of red wine with friends.

WILLIAM

I work in both Marathon Sport stores, primarily on Åboulevarden, and as a personal trainer and running coach. I study medicine and spend my free time running, soccer, friends and family. I often run along Copenhagen Harbor, so say hi if you see a tall man in running shoes!
